Sam Malik
Experience: Sam has worked on structuring alliances between pharmaceutical manufacturers and managed health care organizations, acquisition of physician practices, HMO development and facilitating the launch of new technology systems. He has also advised clients on strategy development, product pricing, market share enhancement tactics, field force optimization and organizational development. Prior to founding Strategyx, Sam held various positions in the pharmaceutical and health care industries, including decision-making positions in market research, product marketing, account management, pricing and business development. He initiated the managed health care marketing function at a major pharmaceutical company at a time when seminal developments were shaping managed care's relationship with its pharmaceutical and device manufacturers. He created models in contract pricing that are widely used in the industry today.
Education: Sam holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.
