In order to prepare both internal and external stakeholders for their first-in-class product launch, a large biopharmaceutical manufacturer was in need of a comprehensive managed markets roadmap outlining strategic goals, cross-organizational tasks, key deliverables and critical timelines. Carefully researched segment strategies were needed for health insurance payers (managed care organizations), health care coverage sponsors (employers and governments) and influencers of health care policy (advocacy groups and disease management organizations).
